Mr. Tahir Mahmood Mughal (Vice-President) Raaziq Group, (Head of Inbound Division) and Mr. Rehan Rizvi (G.M Imports) attended the Inaugural ceremony of Atlas power plant, which was held at plant site near Shiekhupura on 15th of August, 2009. Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and Honourable C.M Punjab Mr. Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the power plant with a capacity of 225 megawatts.

Raaziq --- Inbound Division is logistic partner of Atlas power plant and has also been providing custom clearance services to another Atlas group company, (HONDA ATLAS CARS PAKISTAN) since 1993. Raaziq Group showed its gratitude on this occasion and also assured the best of its services to the Atlas group in their future projects
Federal Minister for water and power Raja Pervez Ashraf and other senior officials of the ministry also attended the inaugural ceremony of the power generation units. In accordance with government policy for power generation projects, 2002, Atlas Group has set up 225MW power generation plant based on Residual Furnace Oil (RFO). Atlas Power Limited, which is an Atlas Group Company, was incorporated as an unlisted public limited company under the Companies Ordinance 1984 in January 2007 to carry out the above generation.
The power plant consists of 11 four stroke Diesel Gensets (type 18V48/60) manufactured by MAN and one steam turbo generator all custom cleared and transported through Raaziq—Inbound Division.
