Shipment handling for power plant

Handling of odd-size shipment on DTD basis. It was a rotor for a power plant. The 12 feet long piece and having a weight of 1,200 Kgs / 01 piece was required to be packed, picked-up, custom cleared, forwarded and delivered to consignee. All operation needed maximum precaution in the packing and handling. The piece was sensitive and cost @ GBP700,000/- increasing the sensitivity of the movement many folds. However, the complete operation was handled successfully.
